Take Rest In God

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Psalm 65:5

Today take rest in the Lord. Give God all your worries and ask that He move on your behalf to bring change in your life. May your mind be free to think on the things of the Lord and not on things that distract you, hurt you or worry you. 1 Peter 5:7a (KJV) says,
cast all your care upon him. Our act of obedience will bring forth a change. Taking rest in the Lord is having peace of mind. Knowing God is in control without worry, fear or doubt.

I pray that your soul find rest in Him today and may your hope come from Him. IJN, Amen!

Christ’s Love Through The Resurrection

John 11:25-26b (NLT)
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life.  Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.  Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die.
Revelation 14:1 (CEV)
I looked and saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! With him were a hundred forty-four thousand, who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
1 Corinthians 15:20-22 (CEV)
But Christ has been raised to life! And he makes us certain that others will also be raised to life.  Just as we will die because of Adam, we will be raised to life because of Christ.  Adam brought death to all of us, and Christ will bring life to all of us.
The Resurrection is the fufillment of  Christ’s love for us.  The heart of Jesus pierced on Calvary is our covers us with the blood of salvation. The warmth of Christ’s love touches the loose ends of our lives and says, “peace be still”. Christ has died for us and we want to be with him forever.  Christ’s love of the Father, even to death on the cross, promises a stake in heaven when we own Christ’s death. The Cross and Resurrection of Christ became our salvation and our foothold in heaven.  The crown of thorns was curse spoken to Adam for his disobedience in Genesis 3:17-18 NIV, To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.   It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.  Jesus’ bloodshed from the crown of thorns and the thirty-nine lashes freed us from sin. The blood of Christ strengthens me, protects me, covers me and provides for me.

Prayer:
Father God, blessed is the Lord that loads us daily with benefits.  Blessed is the Lord who never leaves or abandons us.  Father, you are the resurrection and life to us.  Father, the blood of Christ and cleansed us, strengthen us and given us a life in You.  The power of the blood has set us free.  Lord, we sing praises and rejoice in You.  Father God, touch the dead areas in our life and speak Your Resurrection healing power.  In Jesus Precious Name, Amen!

Faith Don’t Fail Me Now

Luke 22:31-32 (NIV)
“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Satan wants to sift you as wheat.  But intercessions have gone before you so your faith will not fail.  And when you turn back, strengthen your brothers and sisters in the Word of God.  Everyday, has its own sets of challenges BUT the prayers of the righteous have been made available.

The old fashioned way of sifting wheat is to spread the wheat onto a floor made from stone, concrete or tamped earth and to beat it with a flail.  The sifting of wheat sounds like the struggles we’ve had to endure.  The attack on our life seems almost violent in the spirit world BUT God went before you to destroy the barriers in your way.
Prayer:
Father God we thank you for your son died, rose again and sits on the right hand of the throne so we could live.  We are no longer guilty by association but are righteous by association.  Satan wants to sift us as wheat BUT we stand in agreement with Your word.  We stand strong and call an army of angels to bind the enemy.  In Jesus Precious Name, Amen!
